Career Karma connects users with coding bootcamps while providing mentorship, community support, and resources for tech career growth.

When I joined, there was no design system, and the design process lacked structure. Collaborating with a small team, I conducted the first component audit, streamlining the bloated and inefficient libraries. Following a company-wide reorganization, I led a rebrand to Career Navigator Pro, consolidating components and aligning the design system with business goals. This supported the creation of a flexible demo product for clients.

Tech Equity Collective collaboration

Career Karma partnered with Tech Equity Collective (a Google initiative) to create a program for Black talents breaking into tech. Leveraging the design system, I incorporated Google branding, enabling the launch of Black Genius Academy by Spring 2022.

Career Coaching Product pivot

The coaching product blended human and AI features, with pilots integrating voice and AI content generation. I adapted the design system to accommodate this innovative product shift.

Career Karma AI Builder and the move to OutRival

The move to AI Builder empowered businesses to integrate customizable AI companions. I expanded key components for diverse use cases, streamlining workflows.
